Art Classes
Private Art Lessons:
One on one instruction with a professional artist to maximize your learning experience. Beginners welcome. I can work in watercolour, acrylic, or drawing mediums. Rate is $20.00 per hour. Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment, from September through June.
WEEKEND CLASSES
Acrylic Painting Class for Adults: Email if you would be interested in a painting class for adults
Kids Painting Class, Sundays, Ages 7 to 16:
Each month students will complete an acrylic on canvas painting project of their choice of subject matter. Students may also choose to use artist watercolours on occasion. Number of pieces produced will vary according to the speed of the artist.
Classes take place alternate Sunday afternoons from 12 to 2pm (2 hours). Please contact for schedule of classes.
Introduction and development to concepts and techniques such as underpainting, perspective, scale and colour theory. Students may reference art history, popular culture or bring their own pictures and objects for their inspiration.
Materials supplied. Class size limit of 5 students (This class is currently FULL. Email to inquire of any openings.) Fees are $60.00 monthly. Fees are due on the first lesson of the month. (Proof of current Police Check available upon request). Please email to inquire or to register.
Workshops:
Tanya teaches art as a classroom presentation in Durham Region, ON schools. Program is customizable for adult groups as well.
Morning or afternoon in-school watercolour painting workshops will cover many visual arts curriculum topics.
These customizable sessions can include: Color Theory, Painting Technique, Using Perspective, Art History
Materials supplied, up to 20 students, $300.00.
